Keith Jones, CEO & Founding Director

Keith Jones CEO Daconi Wireless LANsKeith is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the IEE and over 20 years experience in the Telecommunications industry. Prior to founding DACONI, Keith was Chief Engineer at Fujitsu where his responsibilities included broadband solution design for tri-play interactive services (digital TV broadcast & VOD, Data & Voice services) based on the Internet Protocol (IP), partnership management and directing research. At Fujitsu he established and managed a team of systems engineers to build Fujitsu's broadband access product portfolio. He previously worked at Marconi on Intelligent Network, Signalling and Call Control system design.

Keith is an active member of the IEE's Communications Professional Network executive committee, and is an editorial panel member for the IEE's Electronics & Communications Engineering Journal. He has served as a member of the executive committee of World Telecommunications Congress (WTC/ISS 2000) where he was responsible for organising the technical visits for over 1000 delegates. He is also a member of the IEEE.

Dympna Kenny, CTO and Software Architect 

Dympna is a software development engineer with 20 years experience gained in the telecommunications industry. Prior to founding DACONI, Dympna was a Principal Software Engineer at Marconi. Possessing an MSc in Telematics (Essex) and degrees from UCC and UCG, she has worked on all parts of the software life cycle for real-time software from feasibility study stage through to design, implementation and test of various systems and processes.

Dympna has worked in the real-time Unix/C/C++ environment, specialising in evaluation and benchmarking of real time operating systems, relational databases and of fault tolerant Unix platforms.
